Seetashma-thapa
Executive Director

Seetashma Thapa

Senior leader in strategic communications and partnerships, with over 15 years of experience across the United Nations system, Asian Development Bank, and World Bank Group. Brings a strong track record of mobilizing funding from bilateral, multilateral, and philanthropic partners across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. Experienced in board-level engagement, stewardship of donor relationships, and leading high-impact fundraising strategies to support institutional growth, sustainability, and mission delivery.

Nayapal Bahadur Pandé

Nayapal Bahadur Pandé is a Kathmandu-based finance professional and Senior Relationship Manager at Nepal Investment Mega Bank with extensive experience in banking, economic research, and client relations. He began his banking career at Nepal Investment Bank Limited in 2009 after Trade Finance training at Mashreq Bank in New York, and holds advanced degrees in banking, finance, and international economics from leading international institutions.

Pramada Shah

Pramada is an animal lover who tirelessly advocates for animal welfare. She is a social activist who co-founded Animal Nepal as an NGO in 2009. She is one of the founders of Saathi – a pioneering NGO to break the silence on domestic violence against women and children. She is also the founder of Burns Violence Survivors Nepal- an NGO supporting acid and burn violence survivors.

Pragya Shah Singha

Pragya Shah Singha is an anthropologist by training and holds a Master’s degree in Business Management from the University of Durham. Her professional interests are wide-ranging and include a Professional Diploma in Culinary Arts. In addition to her academic and vocational achievements, she serves on the boards of several trusts and charities, where Pragya provides strategic guidance and plays a strong advisory role.

Saurav Rana

Saurav Rana is a Director at Helios Hospital. He has previously worked with the World Bank on macroeconomic stability and financial sector development. He holds a Master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins University in the USA and an undergraduate degree from the University of Bristol in the UK.

Varun Rana

Architectural Degree from Washington State University, and a Masters Degree in Architecture Theory and Design from University of Nottingham. Architect and current Director of Baber Mahal Vilas, a heritage hotel in Kathmandu. Always a travel enthusiast with a special love for the natural diversity of Nepal.

The Edwards Family

For more than five decades, the Edwards family has been at the forefront of conservation in Nepal. Beginning with Jim Edwards’ pioneering work in wildlife conservation in the 1970’s  and the founding of the International Trust for Nature Conservation (ITNC) in 1980, the family has helped shape some of Nepal’s most impactful conservation initiatives. Their efforts have supported wildlife research, habitat protection, community development, and ethical tourism practices that continue to benefit both people and nature to this day.  The Edwards family remains committed to carrying forward this legacy through the Responsible Tourism Trust and as owners of Tiger Tops, ensuring that conservation remains at the heart of their work for future generations.
