Jim Edward’s Education Centre
The Jagadamba Jim Edwards Conservation Education and Information Centre, funded by the International Trust for Nature Conservation (ITNC), serves as the hub of conservation education for school children in the Thakurdwara Municipality of Bardia. It is the headquarters in the area of the School for Environment Conservation Education Network Nepal (SENSE), a pioneering initiative dedicated to fostering environmental awareness among young people.
Through this network, the centre represents and supports more than 900 Eco-Clubs across Nepal, empowering students and communities to take part in conservation activities, environmental stewardship, and sustainable practices. By nurturing grassroots engagement, the centre plays a vital role in shaping the next generation of conservation leaders in Nepal.
